One thing that broadly shows this role is related to the tradition of waqf and mughufat (charitable endowments). The present article, which addresses the charitable endowments of Yazdian women from Pahlavi to the present day, seeks to highlight the extent and importance of Yazdianwomen's role inwaqf within the specified timeframe, and according to the written documents responds to the following questions: in which period the women’s participation in the waqf has been higher? To social class the women belongedand what were their motivation in the charitable donations? Studies show that this role has expanded in the era of the Islamic Revolution, which indicates both the social status and the financial independence of women during this period. زنان ایران از عصر پهلوی به بعد به دنبال تحولات اقتصادی، سیاسی، اجتماعی، فرهنگی و شکل­گیری جامعه مدرن با عهده­دار شدن برخی از مشاغل اجتماعی و فرهنگی نقش به سزای در جامعه ایفا نمودند. یکی از اموری که به صورت گسترده­تری این نقش را نشان می­دهد، در زمینه سنت وقف و موقوفات می­باشد. مقاله حاضر که به موقوفات زنان یزد از عصر پهلوی تا عصر حاضر می­پردازد،درصدد است تا با توجه به جایگاه وقف در یزد در بازه­ی زمانی مشخص شده، وسعت و اهمیت نقش زنان را در امر وقف نشان دهد و باتوجه به وقفنامه­های موجود و اسناد مکتوب به دست آمده، به سوالات ذیل پاسخ گوید: میزان مشارکت زنان در امر وقف در کدام دوره بیشتر بوده است؟ زنان واقف از چه قشر و طبقه اجتماعی بوده­اند و انگیزه آنها ازوقف چه بوده؟ بررسی­ها نشان می­دهد که این نقش در عصرانقلاب اسلامی توسعه پیدا می­کند که نشانگر هم جایگاه اجتماعی وهم استقلال مالی زنان دراین دوره می­باشد. https://economichistory.ihcs.ac.ir/article_3027_bc23c94b429d8bc03648bf9aeceaebff.pdf
